I am very new to storyline and so this is probably a very basic question but I am lost!
I have created a test project with a survey at the end to simulate student feedback. I publish to LMS and use Scorm 2004 3rd edition. I zip the resulting project and import that package into Avenue to Learn. The topic itself plays just fine. But where do the survey results go?
Under tracking and monitoring I selected my survey results slide as the result to pass back to my LMS, but I can't see anything in Avenue that is affected by it.
Storyline will send the data back where survey questions are concerned this is very dependent on the LMS if they store the data. If the data is stored in the LMS you should be able to run a storm report.
i would check in Scormcloud to see if that data is being sent.
Thank you both for responding. And thank you Ashley for explaining what SCORM Cloud was - I was just about to ask.
I tried my course at SCORM Cloud. It plays as expected. When it returns, if I click on "View Registration State" I see the following line as part of the state information:
These are the results from my survey. I assume that this means that the data is being reported back? I still see absolutely nothing in my LMS. As I mentioned previously my LMS is Avenue to Learn (same as Desire to Learn) -- not sure if you're familiar with it.
Yup - looks like the data is being gathered and reported correctly. You'll want to reach out to your LMS team as Phil mentioned as I don't have specific information for each LMS and how they'll behave.
Hi Yaser,
Just an FYI - when you reply via email your signature is included in the post. You can edit the post to remove that information if you wished.

Hi Yaser,
I'd agree with Phil here, that you'll want to test this out at SCORM Cloud which is an industry standard for testing SCORM content. You may also want to review this article on troubleshooting common LMS tracking and reporting issues.

Likert questions are one question type that is hit or miss dependent on the LMS.
Never used your LMS you may want to raise a support case with them to see if they can see where the score data is being sent
