Help- I need an expert to come on-site

Jan 08, 2014

Hi everyone,

Our nonprofit has decided to launch e-learning with a goal of having our first course ready by the beginning of February. As a small nonprofit, we don't have the staff resources to do this. We are really wanting to find either a local expert or someone willing to come to Boise, ID to assist us for a couple of days. We have purchased Storyline and want to link with either out website (we have a programmer) or use Moodle.

In a nutshell we are looking for someone who: has an understanding of nonprofit constraints, uses Moodle to host their coursework, and would be willing to come to Boise for a day or two to assist staff in developing this one module for Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month.

If anyone knows someone in the Northwest Area or you happen to be interested in this, either reply here with your email, or better yet- email me at jennifer@engagingvocies.org.  We have funding for this, so we are willing to pay your travel and of course your fee for assisting (please remember we are a nonprofit, we don't have a corporate budget) and we are hoping to get this under way as soon as possible.

Yes, I know we can go through the tutorials and develop it in house, we just need a kick start to meet this deliverable. Thanks!

Jennifer

Loading onto moodle is easy, if you give me access to you site I can record you a screenr on how to do it.

There are lots of good storyline developers out there, have you tried reaching out to some of the other superheroes, Nancy, Kevin, Steve.

there are people who post here regularly who may fit the bill.

Moodle and Storyline together limits your choice, I would perhaps look at getting one of each.
