I am trying top make multiple correct response type quiz and need to set maximum attempts to 3. Have added variables.However, when answer is incorrect, incorrect answer selected is still visible and not reset for the next attempt. Am I missing something here?
That is pretty much how the "try again" feature works, but you do have some options. Instead of hiding the layer on your Try Again Layer, your jump to slide (choose the same slide) - If you do this you will need to set your Slide Properties (which you have done) - however this will cause your "Try Again" to reset to zero, so you would have to use your custom Variable to determine when the Incorrect Layer appears.
The other option is to just add State Change triggers to you Try Again Layer - see below

Hope you wont mind me asking another question.
How do i snap the puzzles automatically to its places.Currently,it is not fitting properly.
Apologies for the inconvenience as I am a novice in Storyline.
If you are using the Freeform quiz version, you can adjust this with the Drag and Drop options
The other option is the right-click the drop location objects and adjust the drag and drop settings to snap to center
