I have quite a bit of experience with Storyline 2 and this may seem like a basic question but my menu is not working and the next and previous buttons don't seem to move the slide forward I have the slide navigation set to advance by user - I am sure it must be something obvious unless the project has a bug??

Hi Jane,
Did you check the menu properties you set to ensure it's not set to Locked or restricted? If so, that'll also cause the next/prev buttons to not work until the user reaches the end of the slide timeline.
If you're still having difficulty, can you share a copy of the .story file with us as well?
