But does anyone know of a way that I can make the timeline start once a poster frame of a video is clicked and not automatically?
I have layers which are timed and if the user takes a while to start the video with the time line still playing my layers are out of sync.
So if it is possible I would like the timeline to be frozen and only start once the poster frame is clicked so that the video and timeline will be in sync
I wasn't sure how I would be able to do that at first glance
But I think I have found a way (I looked at a few related articles) by setting a layer to pause the timeline at the start of the timeline and then setting a trigger that once the layer is clicked clicked it will start.

1. Add a slide trigger that pauses the slide's timeline when timeline starts.
2. Set the video's Play Video option to 'From Trigger' and add a trigger that plays the video when user clicks on the video.
3. Add a trigger that resumes the slide's timeline when user clicks the video.
Looks like Michael is assisting you here Mr Ralliart, so just let us know if you need anything further.
Thank you very much,
