As far as allowing the layers to show at the same time, if you look at your slide layer properties:
Slide Layers > Cogwheel > Unselect Hide other slide layers
I'm attaching your file as well.
Could you explain further what you would like to see for the next button? I am not understand what you are trying to do. It looks as if the next button is set to go to the next slide. Are you wanting to change that set-up?
Hi Julie! I know I was only given a small sample of your file, but the previous button seems to work in what you shared with me. It does quickly advance to the next slide though as that is how you have the navigation set (to advance automatically). Not sure if your intent is to have the slide properties set to advance by user, but that would help.

I am having with quiz slides – the previous buttons do not seem to work.
Any ideas?
