Hello, I'm having issues getting the next button to appear after some variables calculate on a slide. Could I get some help? Basically, there are 5 items on the slide. Once they click the 4 correct ones I want the next button to appear. I attached the project file. Thank you
Thank you Phil for the prompt reply. I ran the preview of the slide you fixed and it still does not function. The next button doesn't reveal and the wifi check mark shows without being clicked?
yes that worked! I removed the adding variables and just made the next button change states to normal when all of the checkmarks are completed. I changed the order of the variables changing before showing the layers for each item.
Thank you! Phew. I've been at this for two days.
Is there are a general rule of thumb for ordering triggers?
The order of all triggers is important and determines when they execute.
Slide master triggers execute before slide and layer triggers.
When there are multiple triggers on the same object that are triggered by the same action (e.g., when the learner clicks a button), triggers execute in the order they appear in the Triggers panel.
so...
if you have an adjust variable and a jump to / show layer if you do the jump/show first, then the adjust variable will never execute.

I do see that you changed the state of the next button instead of using variables to drive it. Is that a better way to do this?
Hi Matthew
try changing the order of triggers e.g. slide 1.4 you are showing the layer before you do the 'add' variable trigger

Awesome. thank you. Can you recommend an online tutorial on advanced triggers and variables?
