Here are the settings: [See attached file for images.]
(1) Object triggers set for the learner to go to the next slide when button is clicked.
(2) “Next” button should appear towards the end of the video.
For some reason the Next button is not doing what it supposed to do. On one of the slides, the “Next” button does not even appear on the slide. On the other slide, it appears but is inactive. The settings/triggers are the same for both slides.
Thanks for sharing the images here. Are you able to attach a copy of this .story file as well so that we could take a look at all slide triggers, states, timeline, etc.? You can attach it here using the paperclip icon, and you'll want to make sure the file is below 20 mbs as that is the limit for the forums.
Are you publishing your course. Viewing a video in its on Window requires publishing. If you publish for Web, I recommend viewing it outside of your hardrive - (for example - tempshare.articulate.com)
If you view locally - I recommend publishing for CD. When IE pops up to play the video you will have to allow blocked content. ( you do not need to do this if viewing from outside of your computer)
I saw in your story file that you have added a trigger to stop the video when you click on the video - that trigger will have no effect on the video since it is not in the same window. It will just continue launching new windows when you click on the video on the slide
I also took a look at your file, and in regards to the next button not appearing, I suspect you're not seeing it as it's not set to appear until the slide timeline has reached almost 9 minutes. Looking at your video it's only 2 mins, and therefore you're probably waiting a while after the movie ends, not seeing anything and then closing out. Did you edit the original movie's length after inserting or was there a previously inserted file that was 9+ mins?

Thanks Ashley. See the attached - this is Test1 (the video would not open in a new window).
This is Test2 - the NEXT button is not appearing. On another try, I got the NEXT button to appear but it got inactive. However, same different video.
