Hide Next and Previous controls on slide layers

How do you hide the next and previous controls on a slide layer and keep them visible on the base layer?

You can add triggers to the layers that hide the PREV and NEXT buttons when the layer timeline starts. You'll also need to add triggers to reshow the buttons when the layer is closed.

Another option: put that content on separate slides and lightbox them  (instead of using layers). Lightboxing a slide displays it on top of the current slide, with a semi-transparent background that covers the entire player. That prevents the user from clicking anything else.
