Perhaps this should be classed as a feature request.
I'd like my users to be able to record personal notes - possibly even short essay question answers - with the Hold-button-and-record touchscreen function, as in whatsApp etc.
I suppose to put sound files into the Learners LMS areas wouldnt be impossible? - Either as a quiz answer, or a forum post (if they later needed to share it with other students?)
Hi there Adam! Depending on your LMS, it might be possible for learners to upload their own audio files. Reach out to your LMS administrator for more details on that.
And if you'd like to see this feature added to Storyline, you can submit a feature request to our Product team!

There are javascript libraries out there that can probably be incorporated into a course for this. Where did you want to save the audio?

I'm not sure if they could be saved with the course, but they could be saved by the user to their local computer or saved on a server.
I have a simple solution with this.
Here are the steps:
- Get your mobile phone
- Open Voice Recorder App
- Start recording
