Hello. We have a system that is moodle based, and our scorm files run well. I have a need to allow another LMS to access our scorm packages, but i still need to track the users. The other LMS needs to track the users as well. Any help would be appreciated.
We are looking to do the same thing at my work. We have looked at the IMS LTI Provider plugin for moodle that will allow other systems to run your courses in their LMS. It will send data back to the 3rd party LMS. I don't think that the data will also be stored on your lms though so it may not work.
With this plugin you won't have to give your scorm packages to the 3rd party keeping the digital assets on your server which is always good.
The 3rd party LMS will need to be IMS LTI compliant as well though.
I believe Tin Can can do what you want with the data being stored in an LRS but I don't think moodle is quite ready for it yet though.

Hi Michael,
I'm not sure I'm clear on the exact set up, but I suspect you'll need to upload the SCORM packages to each LMS separately.
Hi Mike! Sounds like you need some LMS expert help and hopefully one in the community will be able to assist :)
Michael,
I'm no expert but here is my shot at it.
