Hosting courses remotely to be accessed by more than one LMS

Aug 28, 2020

I work with several associations that have allowed their members with subscriptions to load the courses owned by the association in the member's LMS. The members are looking at a way to get updates without having to reload the courses each time and the associations are looking for a way to allow members to have the courses in their LMS but turn off that access if they no longer pay for the subscription.

Is there an inexpensive way to provide access to content from a central server or host while allowing the members to view the content in their own LMS?

Hi James!

There is a solution called "scormNEXT" that makes just what you want: it lets you distribute your contents remotely to external LMS and have control on licenses for each client.

It uses SCORM connectors or SCORM dispatchers to serve your contents to your clients while protecting your original files.

You can get more info here: https://www.scormnext.es
