Hotspots in a scroll box making the scroll box freeze?
Feb 01, 2018
Hello.
I have created a slide with a scroll box that contains a large document.
On the document are hotspots for the student to click on. When the student clicks on the hotspot a word appears on a"notepad" outside the scroll box.
There are eight hotspots on the scrolled document which correspond to eight different words on the notepad.
When i use the preview function everything works correctly. I can scroll down the scroll box, when I click on the hotspots the corresponding words appear on the notepad.
After I publish (for LMS) and try to use the slide, i can only scroll to and click the first hotspot and make the first word appear on the notepad, after that I can no longer scroll down the document.
Any idea what i am doing wrong?
Thanks
Mike

Thanks for the quick reply
Yep i'm sure they are in the scroll box.
Take a look at the attached file.
Im using google chrome because it doesnt seem to load in explorer.
I have tried on both flash and HTML5.
If its working for you it may be a problem with my company computer, i will take it home and try on my home PC.
Thanks for the help.
Just got home and tried it on my home computer - still the same problem.
Perhaps i am doing something wrong when i publish it?
Hi Michael,
I published your file for LMS and hosted it on SCORM Cloud. Do you see the same problems with the hotspots in this link?
Hi Alyssa
I have just checked, the first hotspot is at point 20 in the scroll document. And it still has the same problem.
Thanks
Thanks for confirming that, Michael. I'm going to share your file with our Support Engineers to do some further investigation. They'll reach out to you as soon as they have more to share!
