Verbal quiz help
Oct 20, 2018
Hi, I am trying to build a quiz that has a list of words on the screen. (This is for learning sight words)
The computer (using text-to-speech) will say a word and the student has to click on that word. The problem is I have about 20 words per slide. I want the student to be able to click the first word (and then it becomes disabled) and then hear the next word and so on.
I have tried multiple ways to build this (pick one, pick many, hotspots) and I can not get it to "grade" any of these correctly.
I am hoping someone out there has done something similar and can give me an example! Your help is GREATLY appreciated as I have already spent days trying to do this!

Have a look at this quick example here and see if that's close to what you want. This is based on a Pick One, which means you need to get all of the choices correct to get a score.
That looks good! Could you provide me with the story file?
Thanks!
Robin
See attached, let me know of any questions.
Thank you so much!!!
Thank you Michael! This works great.
Is there a way to do a result slide that shows which ones were right and wrong?
If not, no big deal I like the correct count at the top!
Thanks
Robin
I had added the counter on the question slide only for testing. You could add additional True/False variables for each word that signify if a word has been picked correctly or not. Based on these values, you could set correct/incorrect states on the next slide. See attached a revised file.
Perfect! Thank you!!!
I LOVE IT! Thank you sooooo much!!!
