I'm using Storyline 360. I have a shape with two triggers on it: Jump to a slide when clicked and show a layer when mouse hovers. The click trigger works alone but does not work when the hover trigger is added to the shape. The odd thing is I have other shapes with the two triggers that work on another slide. In both cases they are rectangles with text in them (not text boxes over a rectangle but text typed into the rectangle).
Turns out I had a copy of the buttons on the mouse hovered layers that blocked the click action on the base layer. Guess I should take a break now. Thanks for your quick response.

hard to say without seeing your file. I did a quick sample and seems to be working as expected. See attached.
