I need to add hover explanations to some of the Player items that I have, including Help, Exit and Menu. Are you able to advise how to do this, as I have attempted it with triggers, but can't get it to work. This mouse hover state needs to be available throughout the course.
Easiest way is to add a state hover of the object and edit the state so you can add everything you think should appear for that object.
In details click on the object, go in states tab, click edit states, click add new state, find the state hover and edit here the state, after that click done and that's it .

Thanks Marko for the advice. I'm still struggling on how to do a universal change so that on any screen it will display on hover for a player item, such as Menu/Help/Exit - I want to display on hover a pop up explanation for each - but this is to be on every screen within the course. How do I do this for a player item? Hope you can help.
You can't apply states to the default player controls but you can apply a hover state as Marko has suggested to custom navigation buttons that you create yourself.
If you would like these buttons and their hover state to appear on all screens throughout your project, you can add the button to the slide master(s).

Thanks for your help - shame you can't do it with the player, but I did it as advised above and worked fine.
Cheers
