Hover images

Hi there
My elearning program has a lot of images that when hovered over contain additional information. Should I be telling users each time when there's an image with content to - "hover on the image for more information"
I feel like that's going to get quite repetitive and unnecessary. What do other elearning authors think?
Thanks
Erin

Hi Erin
depending on your audience you could put an instruction on the Help page if you have one or a one - liner on the first image they see if 'all images' contain extra information but in general I find user's are curious enough to move around the screen and if they hover over the first one and see extra information they'll tend to do that on all images.
Just my 2 cents
Awesome, thanks Wendy! I thought so too, that they'd figure it out that some images have extra information, maybe that would make it a bit more fun for them too, but its nice to hear other's views.
