I have been doing some research, but I can not find a way to change the Resource tab to an icon or add one next to the text. Also, is there any way to move it to the bottom of the page? What about changing the font size, make it bold, etc?
The possibilities to customize the player are very very very limited. I guess it is due to the compatibility to assure with the different published format (flash, html5..).
I have similar, needs. For instance I need to add a copyright or security text in the player. No solution at this moment.
But I am sure Articulate could easyly authorize more options to customise the player.
Hope Articulate team will listen to their customer needs.
As Eric mentioned, the player customizations are limited to what is described in these tutorials.
Also, you may want to look into using the Storyline SDK which would allow you to build your own player from scratch (you will need some Flash coding skills).
Thanks a lot Eric and Ashley for your input. Unfortunately, I don't have flash coding skills... Hopefully Storyline incorporates more flexibility regarding those areas of the player in the future. The software is normally so flexible that the rigidity of the player just feels awkward.

however Miriamc and I (and some people over the world) are not Flash specialists.
Hope next SL version will offer more customisation capability for dummies all over the world
I'm not a Flash specialist either - so I understand.
Best course of action for things like this, is always share your thoughts in a feature request as those go to our product development team.
