How do I allow learners to send information to themselves via email?

I want learners to be able to send themselves pages (text information) from within the module.  I've found the trigger for sending an email however I don't understand how to create a field that allows the learner to nominate an address of their choosing then tie it all together.  Thanks.

Thanks Wendy.  I'm not sure if I'm right ... but the steps I've followed are:

  1. Created a text variable 'email'
  2. Created a data box linked to the variable
  3. Inserted a slide trigger attached to the data box (action - send email to, Email - blank, When - variable changes, Variable - email)

 

In the trigger, I've left the 'Email' field blank.  Is this right?
