How do I Track my 3 Branches and 3 Quizzes and send the information to my LMS

I have a course that has 3 branches and each branch has its own quiz. I am able to get the results of each individual quiz to report correctly to the LMS using JavaScript. But I am not able to send which branch was taken to the LMS. I have reviewed other posts on tracking branching and they do not have the same setup I have. From my research I was able to determine that I can pass interaction information using SCORM Interaction Data Collection, cmi.interactions. I already have a variable associated with each branch. My question is how do I assign a interaction ID to my branch buttons so I can send this data to my LMS?

Hey Rick,

Currently, Storyline lets you track a course either by the number of slides viewed, by course completion trigger, or by a single quiz (result slide). You have a couple options if you need to track multiple quizzes, depending on the quiz the learner chooses. 

  • If you simply want to mark the course as "passed" if the learner receives a passing score, consider using the course completion trigger.
  • If you do need to track the actual quiz scores, I'll leave it to the community to help you set up that custom quiz. This similar discussion is a good place to start!
