Is it possible to add more than one animation effect to an object. Suppose that I want to add entrance animation and after 20 sec I need to add another animation to the same object (but not exit animation).
Hi, Wael -- Thanks for your question, and unfortunately, it would not be possible to add more than one animation effect to a single object. That would be a great feature request though, so please feel free to use this form to submit your suggestion to our Product Development team. :)
You would be able to achieve the effect though by creating another instance of the object at the 20 second mark or something similar, and please keep in mind that you can add 2 different animations, just not 2 entrance ones (like entrance/exit, entrance/motion path). And if that idea is not what you had in mind, perhaps other members of the community could chime in with their ideas, as well!
See attached a slightly different take on Christie's suggestion. Instead of instances of the same object, I use states that have animations attached (in my example, I only use simple entrance animations for each state). The trick is to apply the animations BEFORE you copy&paste them into the various states.
Thank you Christie and Michael for your help, it helped me. And after some tries I found a trick, I could add entrance and I create a motion path on the same object and let it plays at specific time from the triggers.
While there isn't a feature that will allow you to add more than one animation to an object, did you have a look at Michael's solution above?
We're continuously exploring new features, and customer input is extremely valuable in that process. If you'd like to chime in with your feedback on this, please share your thoughts with us through a feature request!
One way I've gotten around this is to duplicate the object I want to place the multiple animations on - for example I have a coin I want to spin (swivel) and bounce in. I add the swivel animation to each copy of the coin and place them directly on top of each other. I then group the two copies and add the bounce animation to the group. Voila!
In response to Kerrin's suggestion of over a year ago, though - I've noticed that you can no longer apply animations to groups. Anyone else finding this a problem?

Excellent suggestion, Michael! Thanks so much for your input and I am glad that Wael has a few options to try! :)

Thank you all
Fantastic, Wael! Delighted to hear you are all set, and thanks for sharing the solution you've discovered. :)
Welcome Christie and thank you all for your efforts.
Certainly, Wael -- that's why we're here! :)
Same question. I hope updates happen soon.
Hi Doyal,

I wish there was a way to fine tune animations and apply multiple animations to things like picture placeholders like you can with PowerPoint.

Is this a feature yet? It's been 1 year ;)
Don't be daft ;)
