How to create dynamic states according to 4 parameters?

Aug 08, 2019

Hi,

I try to create an activtiy where you can add/delete among 4 parameters in order to change 1 main image (regarding  the switch you turned on/off, the main image evolves).

I tried to create layer and conditions, variables and states, etc; but everything I tried creates problems. I have the feeling that Storyline do not know which trigger must be prioritzed to others and this is why it creates some problems.

Has anyone ever created this kind of activity? Maybe I take it the wrong way so I am aware to any kind of solutions ;)

I attached my sample to make it clear

Kind regards

All your switches do currently is show a layer that adds colored boxes in the same place, different colors for each layer.  This means you can't really SEE what your options are adding.   They need to be more distinct.

Option1 could activate the Layer that add a stripe on the door

Option2 could add a spoiler

Option3 could change the wheels to a sporty look

Option4 could change the color of the window tint.

Now with 4 distinct things, your triggers could simply turn off/on the associated layer and you'd be able to see what is on.   Right now you can't because the additions are not distinct.

Also, be sure EVERY layer has the [ ] hide other layers option unchecked.
