I was wondering whether it is possible to create error Messages (like in Windows) e.g (Please choose an answer) before the user can actually continue. The thought is to prevent the user from clicking through all the slides without answering the questions. I already know that you can disable and enable buttons via triggers but it would be very kind if someone could tell me whether that works or doesn't work out.

If you are using the built in Quiz questions in Storyline, if someone does not select an answer and hits the Submit button, this error will pop up:
If you wanted to create your own, you could do this by creating a new layer and have that triggered to show if there is no answer selected.
