With the recent SL3 update, a feature was added that inserts a generic play button ahead of the published course when viewed in Chrome.
Enhanced: We added support for Google Chrome 66. If audio or video content in your Storyline course stopped working in Chrome 66, install the latest update and republish.
Is there a way to prevent Storyline from publishing with this? We already have a workaround with a custom "Start" slide, users don't need both. Is there a place to turn off this functionality? This will be going out to a huge audience, and this functionality can be confusing/messy. I don't need it. How to turn it off?
Thanks, it's unfortunate that Chrome disabled silent video too, takes a lot of the possibilities out of what the Start slide experience can have in it. Our original workaround for Safari didn't have any trouble with silent video, wish Chrome would've simply followed suit.
