I've posted my first program to our server! YES! and uh . . . no . . .
Does anyone know how to disable the Resume message ("Would you like to resume where you left off?") when leaving a story and returning later? This is a marketing piece and I always want it to reset no matter when a person exits.
Hello Michael (and any other members who know of this issue),
I thought the issue with "resume" was fixed by going into the Player and setting "On Start" to "never resume" but not so. It actually worked 3 or 4 times when I did, but this morning when I went to check again to make certain, it asked if I wanted to resume again . . . I changed nothing to cause this.
Take a look at the combined screenshot I just took that shows the setting in Player and the result when opening the story online.
Is it possible you're viewing an older version of the course, or that it's cached within your browser? I'd suggest ensuring you've published and uploaded the latest version with the resume settings set to never, and clear the cache and history within your browser to start fresh. If you're still seeing the resume prompt we'll want to take a look at the .story file so that we can do some additional testing on our end.
Hi Ashley, I submitted this issue a few weeks ago, I see it's been occurring over a year. do you by chance know if there is any progress as to fixing this "Never Resume" function? I'm running Articulate Studio 13 and it doesn't start from the beginning every time. (one has to empty the cache to play again)... thanks
Hi Michael! I see where you reported this here and got some assistance. I do not have an update to provide at this time. Are you able to utilize the workaround of setting the course to 'Prompt to Resume'?
Thanks for the update Michael, but unfortunately I do not have a different solution at this time. I've added this thread for our QA Team as well and will update this thread when applicable.

In the player properties, select either 'Never' or 'Always' as the Resume behaviour. See some info here.
Michael,
Perfect. Thank you very much! Those lil sprockets . . . my 60 year old eyes see's them as uh . . . well, blurry dots! *lol*

Is this a bug? Or am I missing something?

Hi Prompt to Resume works fine, but I need it to open from the beginning every time.
Thanks
