How to end a course so it shows completed in my LMS?

Nov 24, 2014

I have my course completed and have successfully uploaded it into my LMS.  How do I  specify that a certain number of pages have to be read to consider the course completed? What coding do I need so my LMS will recognize it?

You have not specified what LMS you are using but you should not have to do any coding in the LMS to pass the results. When you publish your Storyline Project  you need to select the LMS option ( and select the SCORM format recommended by your LMS providers). While on the publish screen in Storyline, click the Reporting and Tracking link and then select the tracking tab - it is here that you specify the number of pages you want people to review before the course is marked as complete.

Thank you! I have tried both counting number of pages and even creating a non-quiz. I am able to end the course but it does not update the completion date on my LMS (CUTraining). I think I have followed the directions but...I’m open for suggestions.

Also, an additional issue is when I access the course from my laptop, it looks great. However, when I access it from our network server, the font is sketchy and hard to read. The majority of my co-workers would access this course via a network server. Does anyone have any idea how to improve the font?
