I have some videos that I needed to edit and the easiest way for me to do this was to use the video editor in Storyline (couldn't get the Video Encoder to work). The videos are all MP4 and I had no trouble importing them and editing.
Now I want to export/save the edited videos so I can import them into the original Presenter e-learning. However, I can't seem to see how to do this.
When I click on the Record button it doesn't list any of the videos I have in my storyline file.
I believe the only way to do this is publish the presentation, then look in the story_content folder for all the videos. They will all have an MP4 extension.
Hi, appreciate this is an old thread, just wanted to add that in the most recent edition of Storyline you can simply click on the video from within the slide, right click and select export. This may prevent you waiting a long time to publish if your videos are long. Thanks

Oh, and keep in mind that the resulting video may be of lower quality. Check your publish settings if you want to increase the quality.
Thanks Josh! Worked perfectly. I took your advise and published the story maximizing the quality of the videos.
Hi Jan! Glad that Josh was able to help you out. Just let us know if you need anything further.
