Videos imported from MS Office Mix files

Has anyone imported Microsoft Office Mix files into Storyline and tried to edit the videos in SL? I've never imported any Powerpoint files with videos so I'm not sure if those present the same problem. We had to use Mix last year while our university was trying to choose a new content authoring tool and finally picked SL. I am finding that these videos can't be edited or trimmed within SL. I also couldn't export them out of the Powerpoint files to be saved and edited separately. Is there any way to determine what type of files these video clips are? I know some file types can not be edited by the SL video editor. Any workarounds anyone can think of will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi Yuyen!
If you right-click the file in Windows Explorer and click Properties, you should be able to see what type of video file you're working with.
Storyline 360 supports these video file formats.
Let me know if you have other questions about that!
but the video clips are embedded in the PPT file so I can't right click on those specifically to view the property. Is there any way I can email the file to a staff person/help desk at Articulate so they can help me with this specific problem?
Sure thing, Yuyen! Simply send us your files by clicking here, and we'll take a closer look.
You should be able to export any video from the PPT file by renaming the file type to .zip.
If it is a video then you should be able to trim it inside of storyline, I suppose it depends on how it comes into storyline, Mix was always a beta adding so is not supported inside storyline.
