How to only activate "next button" after timeline ends Feb 12, 2015 By Inés Herrera Hi, I´d like learners only to be able to press the next button after timeline for the slide ends. Can you let me know how to do it? Thank you

Wendy Farmer Hero over 9 years ago02/13/15 at 9:36 am (UTC) 1. Create a 'Disabled' state for your custom nav button and set the initial state to Disabled in the States tab. 2. Check the timeline length is what you need it to be 3. Add a trigger to your Next button - Change state of button Next to Normal when timeline ends on (slidename). Hope that helps

Thank you both, and in Storyline 1?

Custom navigation
1. Create a 'Disabled' state for your custom nav button and set the initial state to Disabled in the States tab.
2. Check the timeline length is what you need it to be
3. Add a trigger to your Next button - Change state of button Next to Normal when timeline ends on (slidename).
Hope that helps
Thanks a lot and for player buttons
