How to remove EXISTING Invalid Answer Message?

I followed the instructions provided in David Anderson's excellent YouTube tutorial, Articulate Storyline: Customize the Invalid Answer Message.

Good news: In Storyline 360, I was able to create my own feedback layers for correct, incorrect, and invalid.

Multiple Messages Problem

Bad news: The old "Invalid Answer" message still shows -- on top of my custom one, AND on top of the correct and incorrect layers! What gives? (Note that I have already removed all the Feedback Masters with that scheme, but left the ones I'm using.) I've seen discussions on how to create custom messages, and even this question posed, but never fully answered.

Does anyone have ideas on how to remove this existing "Invalid Answer" message? I want it out of my life, forever.

Hi Phil,

Sorry to hear you’re running into this issue. I followed David’s tutorial and was able to successfully create the custom Invalid layer pop up using my own question from scratch.

I jumped into your file, and even after fixing a few trigger issues, I still couldn’t replicate. Try recreating a new question and using those triggers David suggested. Let me know how it goes!
