I am trying to find a way to save a page to your computer inside storyline. I have created a form inside my lesson, and I have a way of printing this page. But I would like to be able to save it to the computer.
Anyone on any machine should be able to take a screenshot, but I'm not sure you want to walk each user through those steps within your course. They'd also need to be able to paste the screenshot into another program and it may be difficult to instruct this, since not all users have access to the same programs.
I'm assuming you're wanting them to be able to save a version of their completed form to their machines, correct? Not the blank version? That might be a bit cumbersome - it can be done, it just depends on whether or not you want to include instructions for users that may not be very familiar with computers.

Hi Shelly,
Sounds like you want to save one of your slides to a file on your machine. Is that right?
Do you have access to Word on your machine? If so, you could export the project to a Word document:
Publishing a Project for Word
Would that work for you?
I'd like the user to be able to save the slide page to the computer. Like a screenshot of the page or something.

Thanks!
Yes, I just want them to be able to save a copy of the completed form.
I have a way to print it, but my boss wants them to be able to save the form from the screen.
Hi Shelly,
Sorry - I'm afraid I don't know of a way for you to do that. If it was an uncompleted form you could attach it as a document.
A completed form, though, is a different story. The only option that I know of is to capture a screenshot.
Maybe someone else will be able to give you some suggestions for this :) If you do find a method that works for you, I'd be interested in the details.
Thanks!
