html AND flash issues in IE

Hello Heroes, and happy new year!
I am having trouble with shapes' animations in IE, I used the wipe animation and noticed that it does not work as mentioned here.
So I tried to publish in flash (not really great), and then in flash with html backup, my animations are working fine (ans some of the other html issues I has are also fixed, yey!) BUT, one of my trigger is not working anymore.
I created a navigation bar with several layers, you show the layer when you hover a text box and to hide this layer you have to click outside it. It was working well when I published in html with flash backup, but not anymore when published in flash with html backup.
I hope I am making sense here. And I hope someone could help me :)
Ps: the project I am working on has to remain confidential

I manage to fix the problem on my own: when published in flash, the trigger "Hide this layer when user clicks outside" has to be in the concerned layer and not on the base layer.
It seems logical but when published in html, the trigger worked even if it was on the base layer.
