html5
Nov 14, 2016
Good evening all,
I have recently completed a piece of work for a client who is unable to listen to the audio add to the project.
They have commented as follows.
I've tested this out some more now - for me in Google Chrome and Opera the link plays the audio fine. In Firefox I've had it work a couple of times and not others (even when playing locally) and in Edge there's no audio when running from a web server but is running locally.
Running the flash version instead of the html5 version plays the audio fine in Firefox and Edge. The inconsistencies here are very strange .
Most of the work I complete goes onto LMS's and I have no problem with them at all.
Can anyone advise,
Thanks again in advance for your help.

IN storyline 2 the only supported browsers are
Windows Chrome
Mac Chrome and Safari
As you have found in unsupported browsers certain things do not work as you would expect.
Storyline 360 HTML5 content will work with a wider range of browsers including Edge.
Thanks Phil,
for your response, makes sense now
Just ordered 360, so hopefully will resolve some issues.
Happy to hear you're making the shift Andrew and keep us posted if you run into any specific issues with it.
