html5 lightbox error

Jun 18, 2013

I have a picture on a lightbox. However, when i try to zoom the picture in html5, the picture goes under the lightbox. As shown below, and I also attched a test file for anyone to reproduce the error.

Need to get this fixed asap. I am building a large course using lightbox.

Thanks so much in advance.

Has this issue that was reported over 2 years ago been fixed? I have Storyline 2 Update 7 and I'm experiencing the same problem. I have a slide with zoom regions and I want the slide to appear in a lightbox so that the close button is available. I also want to repurpose this lightbox slide in other modules as a reference slide.

Hi Jane,

This issue was within Storyline 1, and I see that it was reported to our QA team based on this one user. I don't see a similar issue in Storyline 2, so we'd want to take a look at your .story file to confirm the set up and pass along to our QA team. Can you also confirm that you're viewing the HTML5 output in one of the supported browsers detailed here?  Are you able to share it here with us? You can include it using the "Add attachment" button at the bottom of the reply

Hi Jane,

Thanks for sharing your file here with us. I'm taking a look at it - but my first question is about the set up of lightboxing the slide the user is on? I think that's causing some difficulty and actually caused my browser to not load it initially. Have you looked at instead using the button on slide 1.2 to lightbox slide 1.3 - vs. jumping to slide 1.3 and having that slide lightbox itself?

Hi Jane,

Since your set was a bit confusing to follow along with I did a new sample file. You'll see it's just two slides, the first one with a link to lightbox the second one. On that second slide I added an image and a bunch of zoom regions and then I published it for web (including HTML5) output. I uploaded that here (direct link to the HTML5 environment).
