Hi, I'm actually in a fix trying to run an articulate storyline HTML file on Android 4.2 tablets for a school project(Created with Storyline 3). Desperately, it does not run thru Articulate Mobile App, Chrome, HTML reader or Browser.
The only available way is through offline access. I've tried a string of HTML Android App but there is no way getting around. Anyone who has successfully run the HTML5 rendered output on Android 4.2?
Hi there, Mohun. It sounds like you need to be able to view your Storyline 3 course using an Android that is offline. The Articulate Mobile Player will allow Android users to access a Storyline course and download it for offline viewing later.
I'd love to help you, but I need a little more information:
Did you include the Articulate Mobile Player in your publishing format?
After you publish the Storyline 3 course, are you hosting it online (web, LMS, Articulate Online, etc)?
I'm afraid the tablets cannot be connected to the internet as per the actual situation. My latest attempt with Articulate Mobile Player requires at least 1 download from the internet for later offline viewing which is not possible under the present scenario (Please correct me if wrong).
So sad to learn about this limitation of AMP because there exist many situations of offline conditions in learning environments to take care of.
Just wanted to share as well that the only walk around to run the HTML5 file on Android 4.2 is through Firefox App although with some limitations. All the others are either stuck on the intro wheel animation or heavy lags.

Android Tablet version 4.2.2
Published files as HTML5 output
I understand, Mohun. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to get the courses into the Articulate Mobile Player without being connected to the internet.
