Hyperlink Not Working in IE9
Aug 20, 2012
Hey, all!
I am using a thumbnail that hyperlinks to a pdf file in my current project. When using Firefox, it pops up nicely, but it simply does nothing when using the story.html file in IE9.
If you open story_html5 it gives the error, "Internet Explorer this webpage from running scripts or Active X controls." When you click allow, it says-
Unsupported Browser
The HTML5 player does not currently support this web browser.
Click here to view this project using the standard Flash player.
Is this an issue on our server or IE9 installation? My boss doesn't like the idea of going forward with something if it's not going to work on everyone's browser.
Thanks!

Oddly, the videos that I use in the presentation work fine in IE9, but don't show up properly in Firefox. Is Storyline generally this inconsistent with compatibility?
Hi Matthew!
I'd say it's more an inconsistency with HTML5. And currently, we only support HTML5 on Chrome, Safari, and Mobile Safari. But if you'd like, we'd be happy to take a closer look at this. Please submit a case using the link below so our support team can assist you further:
