I have hyperlinked text within a scrollbox. Though it seems to work correctly, the actual hyperlink hover spot is not over the text; it's up in the air (see pic). Any suggestions as to why this is happening?
Here's the story with just this slide. The project itself is pretty large and includes other slides like this so if you guys could give me the lowdown on how to fix this I can fix it in other places as well.
I also have this exact issue - I have hyperlinked text within a scrollbox. Though it seems to work correctly, the actual hyperlink hover spot is not over the text; it's up in the air (see pic).
This is only happening with 3 slides out of 62. I have tried deleting and re-adding both the text box and scroll bar but the problem persists.
Was this ticket resolved? (sorry, I know it was so long ago).
I looked into Kristin's case and see that it was shared with our QA team in regards to how hyperlinks don't appear correctly in scrolling panels and it appears it was resolved in an earlier update of Storyline 1 - what update are you currently running? We're on update 8 now.
If you're still having difficulty, we'll likely need to take a look at the file. Can you also confirm that you're working on local project files as detailed here and have you been able to replicate this in a new file since installing the update?
I am working on a network drive (all my projects I have been working on a network drive) unfortunately. I haven't been able to replicate this issue but I haven't been using hyperlinks to the same extent as this project.
I moved it to my desktop and deleted and resaved the project, I can't seem to fix the issue.
My Project can be download from the link below and its slide 1.15 Library Doc Delivery.
If you've always been working off a network drive it doesn't mean that the corruption can't happen unfortunately. Once a file becomes corrupt, it may not be able to return to it's normal state - although you could try importing it into a new project as described here.
I'm sorry to hear that the file is still not working. You'll want to work on your local drive as mentioned in that article and then look at trying this in a brand new file.

Sorry about that Kristin. Would you mind sending us your .story file so we can take a closer look at what's going on? Thanks!

Thanks for sharing that, Kristin. I'd recommend going ahead and opening a ticket with the support team so they can help get it resolved. Thanks!

Hi Ashley,
I have updated to the latest version (I was on version 5) and it is still having the same issues. I don't know what else I could try.
Thank you,
Vicki

Hi Ashley,
It didn't work unfortunately.
