Hyperlink the same word across multiple slides?

Hi there,

So what I want to be able to do is have the same word hyperlinked across multiple slides and not to have a slide on every slide for this to work.

ATM I can hyperlink a word on a slide to a layer that has a text box with a description of that word.

But what is the easiest way to do this across multiple different slides without having to create a layer on each slide?

If I setup a slide that is linked to from every hyperlink the text box description will not appear in the right place (near the word that is clicked).

I have attached some examples to hopefully explain things.
