With the insert tab selected the only thing that is not under intensified is the Record Screen. It appears there is something missing in the set up, how do I fix that?
You're in Story View. If you want to start developing your slides, you need to open one by double-clicking inside the white frame under 1. Untitled Scene. Then, additional Insert options will be available to you.

they will be greyed out in Story View as they are not valid options. If you select the slide and have the edit view are the options available?
