I have a slide with one base layer and 4 other layers. I have an audio clip that describes all the information on the 4 layers. I want the audio clip to play throughout the display of the layers. I tried putting the audio clip in the base layer but I couldn't figure out how to do it. I put it on layer one but it doesn't play. When I first recorded the audio clip it was placed above layer 4 and played at the end. What knowledge do I need to solve this problem, or do I have to break up my audio and put the parts on to each layer.

I'm curious how you have your Slide Layer Properties set? If you do not pause the timeline of the base layer and have accommodated the timing for all of the slide layers, then the audio should continue to play.
