Image Zoom on iPad problem

I have created a story have several screenshots throuhgout. Each of them has the "Zoom Picture" because I shrank the pics down to fit on the slide.
When I publish, the zoom feature works great. The little magnifying glass icon is there. You click the pic and it zooms out and then back again when you click it a second time.
However, on the iPad, when you click a pic it zooms out, but you can't get it to zoom back. You also can't click anywhere else as the zoomed image takes up most of the screen.
Any ideas?

Welcome to E-Learning Heroes Brian!
How are you viewing the content on the iPad? Are you using the Articulate Mobile Player, or Safari (HTML5)?
Thanks!
I believe I had both checkboxes marked when I published. The content plays back in the mobile Safari browser.
Hi Brian,
Thanks for getting back to me! Have you had a chance to make sure that Private Browsing is disabled in Safari?
You may find that Storyline's HTML5 output doesn't load as expected in Safari if the Private Browsing feature is enabled.
This is a known issue. To correct it, turn off Private Browsing while you're viewing your Storyline content. Here's how.
If the zoom feature still doesn't function properly, we'd be happy to take a closer look at what's happening.
Thanks!
Private browsing was disabled.
After playing around with it some more I decided to republish the course with only the Articulate Mobile Browser option selected and it plays great there.
But I would like it to work in HTML 5 as well. I'll submit it.
Thanks!
Has a solution been found to this issue? I'm finding the same thing - HTML5 output, private browsing disabled. When you zoom in, the only way to get out of the zoomed picture is to close the tab in safari and restart the course.
Good morning Nick,
I was able to find Brian's case and it looks like we were able to reproduce the issue. Our Quality Assurance department is currently working on this issue. Hopefully we'll be able to find a fix for this.
In the meantime, maybe you could try the workaround that our support team shared with Brian:
If you'd like to share your file with us, so we can confirm you're seeing the same issue being tracked by our QA team, feel free to submit your files.
Thanks, Nick!
Thanks, Christine! The layer solution will work just fine for this particular course. That was my plan B, in case there wasn't a quick fix. Thanks for the response, I appreciate it.

Hi Nick!
You're very welcome! Happy to hear that will work out for your project.
I hope you have a great day!
Christine
Hi Christine,
I'm having the same issues as described above, is there any progress in fixing this zooming issue in HTML5 on Safari?
Thanks,
Oren.
Hi Oren,
Christine has actually taken another position within Articulate, so she doesn't get into the forums as often.
Currently the solution we have for the zoom picture in HTML5 or the iPad app, is as Christine mentioned using layers and triggers to simulate the zoom feature as described here.
