images in states, can't use "arrange" function

I am correct in that, when using states, I am unable to use the "arrange" function for images (other than the normal slide?)

There were cases I wanted to place an image underneath other graphics but couldn't seem to do it in states, so instead used layers.

Just wanted to ensure I wasn't missing if that feature was possible.

Hi Joe, if I'm understanding you correctly, you would like to change the layer ordering of objects at runtime? If that's the case, you're right - states can't change the object's layering position on the slide. Slide layers are definitely more suited to that purpose.

yeah, that would be it, thanks! Was only changing one image and would have been easier to do in states, but was being hidden so did in layers. Just making sure I wasn't doing the extra work unnecessarily.
