Images randomly not loading in SL Quiz Published to AO

Hi Heroes,

I've published a Storyline quiz to Articulate Online with 105 questions - a large majority of them Hotspot and Pick Many - and am encountering questions that randomly do not load images...even backgrounds. The question field displays and mousing around the blank screen causes the cursor to change to the pointer finger if it encounters a Pick Many option. Clicking a hotspot screen places the marker even though the image is not there. Clearly, this is a problem for someone taking a graded quiz.

If I close the quiz and resume, the images load fine. The problem is exacerbated if the session is inactive for any length of time. There is no time limit set for the quiz. I do not encounter the problem when the quiz is published for the web and not directly to AO.

The same questions are scattered throughout other lessons and there are no problems with images loading.

Can anyone help me understand what's going on and what needs to be done differently?
