If my company is looking to create great e-learning and training courses, which product is better to use if we already have a ton of powerpoint files with which to base off of; Storyline or Studio? We won't have any pre-made flash files to import, if that helps.

And it may also be helpful to know that you're able to import PowerPoint / Presenter courses directly into Storyline.
