Importing Power Point Methods to Reduce Re-Formatting
Sep 21, 2017
Howdy!
I just wanted to share or get others input about the methods they use to import PowerPoint into Storyline.
I feel like I have been spending a lot of time trying to re-format presentations after a PPT to Storyline import and since the presentation was originally an ILT format it is already formatted nicely.
I want to know if others have tried Saving the PPT to individual PNG files and importing the slides as "Pictures" rather than slides or if there is another method to insure the formatting/font size/etc. imports more accurately from PPT.
I have included a Picture of the PPT slide in presentation mode (top image) and the Storyline Preview (bottom image) directly after import for reference of the difference.
I still have to go through and make the interactive slides and questions in Storyline but trying not to replicate the tedious process of Text Edits/Size Adjustments.
Feedback, ideas, suggestions would be greatly appreciated...Just trying to figure out how to streamline and be more efficient.
Thanks in advance!
