Importing Translation - white lines in word file

Dec 05, 2016

Dear all, hope you are well.

I need your help. The external translation agency sent me back the translated word file but for some strange reasons there are some blank white lines that I cannot remove and for this reason the translation import in Articulate is not successful. (see attachment)

Those white lines were not in the original exported file that I sent them.

Is there a way I can quickly remove them or do I have to copy-paste all sentences in a new document?

Thanks a million in advance for your expert help.

Cristina

Hi Cristina!  I have not run into this issue, but I found an article from the Microsoft community that might get you pointed in the right direction:

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/msoffice_word-mso_mac/cant-delete-white-space-in-any-word-document/c7e08a31-0bcd-49b4-8790-070379da2f2b

Are you able to use the "clear formatting" feature in Word?  I hope you don't have to copy and paste it over again!  Perhaps others in the community can shed light as well.
