I have an exam/quiz for a course that I have had other people give me a list of questions in word format. What's the easiest way to to insert/import into articulate?
Hi Pryce! You can import quiz questions into Storyline from a Microsoft Excel workbook or a text file. Since you've been given a Word document, the text file option might be your best bet. Give it a try, and let us know if you run into any snags along the way!
I see. What is the format that it needs to be in an excel file? I'm sure it can't be random. i.e. The question has to be in one cell, answers in another cell or cells. If you point me the way, I can look it up, research it and figure it out.
Thanks
I'm sorry for the confusion, Pryce. You're correct that a Word document (.doc) is not an option, but you might find it easier to convert your Word document to a text file (.txt) than an Excel workbook. But feel free to try both to decide what works best for you!

So when I go to "import questions from an excel or text file" the word document with the questions does not show up as a choice.
Hi Pryce! Be sure it's a .txt if a text file.

We have a template and the document that Alyssa shared above explains it if needed. I'm attaching the template and the format is .xls or .xlsx.
Hope that helps Pryce :)
Thanks
Thanks!
Looks like you and I were replying at the same time. :) You can find a template for the Excel workbook here.
