Sep 22, 2016

Is it possible to incorporate a feedback form at the end of the eLearning course? Kindly guide me.

Hello Manoharan!  It sounds like you'd like to have your learners fill out a survey or provide some open feedback to you at the end of a course.

You can use "quizzing" slides for this purpose!  If you'd like to just provide an open space where your learners can type a few words of feedback, the Survey Essay slide might be a good option for you.  It is ungraded, and you can customize it to match the style of your course.

If you'd like more of a multiple choice setup for your feedback, there are Survey slides for that too!

You'll just want to be sure to follow your feedback slide with a Result slide.  The results slide can look any way you'd like it to; it's purpose is to communicate the learners' feedback to your LMS, if you need the ability to track their responses.

I hope that gives you some direction!

When I run reports in scorm cloud, I only get to see the quiz results. I dont know where to find the survey summary.

Hi,

We use a different approach, as our feedback is collected via Survey Monkey for both our classroom and eLearning courses. I just incorporate the feedback web page directly into the end of the course. (Insert web object). Works like a charm and survey monkey email us to say when they have had responses so we know we've got feedback.

Hope that helps :-)

Hi Manoharan!

Articulate Storyline lets you track a course either by the number of slides viewed or by a single quiz (result slide). Tracking both measurements for the same course isn't supported. Similarly, tracking multiple quiz scores in the same course isn't supported. However, you may be able to track more than one SCO (shareable content object) in a single course using one of the unsupported methods in this article.

As Paul shared, I've seen many user mention utilizing a 3rd party survey tracking tool as well.

Hi Diane!

We've found that emailing quiz and survey results can cause issues with accuracy and consistency. For example, if you use Gmail or your computer’s security settings are high, you can’t email results. Also, you run the risk of learners tampering with results since they can access the email before it’s sent. Since we want every feature in our software to work well, we haven't included a default Email Results feature.

You may be able to use Javascript to make this work, so I'll leave it in the hands of the Java-savvy folks to give you some pointers here. In the meantime, check out our Javascript best practices! ☺️
