Incorrect layer not showing for Drag and Drop

Apr 24, 2015

I created a drag and drop where the user is supposed to drag text on to the correct label location. When the user clicks my check answer button it submits the interaction. If the answers are dropped correct the text turns green. If they are wrong the text turns red.

Correct answer:

If the answers are correct the character slides out from the right with her response. This character and caption are on the 'Correct' layer. This layer is being hidden when the timeline for the layer ends.

Correct answer

Incorrect answer

If the answers are incorrect the character slides out from the right with her response. This character and caption are on the 'Incorrect' layer. This layer is being hidden when the timeline for the layer ends.

As you can see in the image above the text changes color correctly and I can continue to also move answers around to try and get them right.

The problem is that my 'Incorrect' layer is not showing.

The character is supposed to slide out from the right with a caption and then fade away when the timeline for that layer ends.

Here you can see I have both layers.

I have the following set:

Ok, Got it figured out.

This post helped me out : https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/showing-a-layer-if-dragdrop-is-correct-and-incorrect

When using unlimited attempts with a drag and drop storyline looks for the 'Try Again' layer and not the 'Incorrect' layer.

I renamed my 'Incorrect' layer to 'Try Again' and it works perfectly.
