When previewing my presentation, I noticed that some of the slides were not showing up and were not listed in the outline. Then, when closing the preview and viewing the slides, I noticed blue index marks (blue triangles) around the slides not showing in preview. What are these, and how do I get rid of them!
I'm also confused as to what you're referring to. If you'd like to share the .story file with us as well, that's sometimes easier to understand than a screenshot. If you're unable to post in the forums you can also share with me here.
I'll upload 4 screenshots. Optum1 shows the menu without Checkpoint 3 quiz. Optum2 shows the preview of the storyline player, the menu is missing checkpoint 3. Optum 3 & 4 shows storyview, checkpoint 3 is still here!
It looks like the quiz slides have been removed from your menu, but you can easily get them back as described here. and I included a screen shot of the below:
The "blue triangles" you mentioned seeing that you show in Story view are just indicating the trigger to jump to next slide about the slide you're on. They won't appear in your published output.
Thanks for sending along your files to me. I took a look, and also wanted to point out how you could add a hidden slide back into your project - this was right above the restore in the article I linked:
I tested this within your file, and I was able to add Checkpoint 3 back into your menu successfully.
